Glow is our hydrating hydrogel mask with collagen, hyaluronic acid and niacinamide. Here's what the research says about the ingredients – honestly and simply explained.
What is bio-collagen?
Bio-collagen is collagen produced with biotechnology, for example through fermentation, instead of being extracted directly from animals. In skincare, collagen mainly works as a moisture-binding ingredient: the molecules settle on the skin, bind water and reduce dryness. The result is skin that feels softer, smoother and more hydrated.
The ingredients in Glow
- Collagen – binds moisture on the skin's surface and gives a soft, silky feel.
- Hyaluronic acid – can bind large amounts of water and is one of the most widely used ingredients for hydrating the skin.
- Niacinamide (vitamin B3) – has been shown in studies to support the skin barrier and increase the skin's own production of ceramides, the skin's natural lipids (Tanno et al. 2000, British Journal of Dermatology).
Why hydrogel?
A hydrogel mask works like a soft lid over the skin. It keeps the moisture and ingredients against the skin for hours – that's why you can wear Glow for 3–4 hours or overnight.
Good to know
Collagen in skincare does not replace the skin's own collagen – large collagen molecules stay on the skin's surface. The effect is hydration and a softer skin feel. That's why Glow pairs so well with Aura: the light for your LED routine, Glow for moisture afterwards.
